Nicole~you have expressed my feelings exactly and I am grateful to know I am not alone. Until recently I also felt that if I could not go directly to the worst affected areas in Japan and physically help them, all other forms of self expression seemed meaningless. Even sending money did little to ease the helplessness. I too have been unable to be as creative as I know I can be and wondered how my work could make a difference to those who need it most. `Being silent` has also been the key for me and now it is time to re-emerge and re-express in honor of those who lost their lives and can not and in honor of our highest selves.
Your post and your art work is total inspiration and I feel blessed to see your art, to read your words and call you my friend. Love always, Shivani.

Hi Matthew, I’ve seen loads of mandalas on white paper and other colors. I like black paper because it’s cosmic and mysterious. The mandalas almost look like planets floating in space.
